Kim, Liz and I continue the mission of providing engaging educational coverage and adding new ways to consume that content supported by the full HFTP team. At the start of the year we launched the Hospitality Upgrade Tech Check-in podcast. It’s in its infancy but we’re excited to evolve the cast, with headlines and news from around the travel industry. The newest edition is our Winter issue scheduled as a December/January edition. We encourage you to renew your subscription to receive this exciting new issue. Each Winter issue will be theme driven.
At the end of March we will host our 20th Executive Vendor Summit! EVS is a great milestone and testament to how great our partners are - from the ones that have been with us since day one to our newest partners. We’re proud to provide an environment with so much value year after year. Our partners are the reason we work so hard and care so much – and we look forward to seeing them in Louisville and celebrate 20 years of Executive Vendor Summits!
The longevity and loyalty of these partners inspires us to continue improving. We’re dedicated to finding new ways to create excitement for technology and innovation for the hotel industry. New for 2025, we’re looking forward to the investment program which will kick off our week at EVS.
As this is our Spring issue it's also our annual Rockstars issue – for 6 years we’ve shared the profiles of influential technology leaders in our industry. This year we added an 11th Rockstar and we hope you enjoy this surprise. Also in this issue is the summary of our annual CIO technology investment survey. This yearly survey goes back many years to document industry trends. We're exceedingly grateful to the industry leaders who participate in this important study.
Lastly, I’d like to draw attention to the revival of the cruise technology section in partnership with Seatrade. Since we last covered this segment five years ago, the cruise industry has undergone a dramatic technological transformation, from the widespread adoption of high-speed connectivity that's revolutionizing the guest and crew experience, to the integration of AI-driven personalization tools, and advanced boarding systems, that are moving the industry forward.
