VENZA Hires Bill D’Argis as Security Analyst
VENZA, the leading provider of data protection and regulatory compliance solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced that it has hired Bill D’Argis as a Security Analyst.
As a member of the VENZA Security Team, Bill will work in support of products in the company’s best-in-class Everest™ and Denali™ programs. Among these are PCI DSS Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) preparation, Report on Compliance (ROC) preparation, external and internal vulnerability scanning, Pen Testing, GAP Assessment, and the provision of Policy Templates.
Bill brings a wealth of IT security expertise to VENZA. He holds CompTIA PenTest+, CompTIA CNVP, CompTIA Security+, Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet, and GRC Analyst Master Class certifications. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems from the University of Hawaii, Manoa and a Cybersecurity Professional Certificate from San Diego State University.
Bill comes to VENZA after working directly in the hospitality industry for over 15 of his 20 years in IT. He formerly was a Property Complex IT Director, Property Complex IT Manager, and Systems Analyst at Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Worldwide and a Systems Manager at Fairmont & Marriott International. He currently resides in Chula Vista, CA.
