VENZA Delivers Upon its Q1 Product Roadmap
VENZA, a leading provider of cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced that it has delivered key elements of its Product Roadmap—the company’s transparent commitment to innovating new security solutions.
In the first quarter of 2025, VENZA released key advancements across its core offerings by broadening its hospitality-focused phishing template and training libraries and significantly enhancing the VENZA System™, its proprietary risk and reporting dashboard.
“Cyber threats and regulatory challenges are evolving rapidly—targeting hoteliers with increasing precision. In recent few years, we’ve seen phishing attacks become highly sophisticated campaigns that can realistically mimic third-party booking platform communications,” said Casey Harrigan, Product Director at VENZA. “Our product releases this quarter rise to this challenge. For over a decade, we’ve remained committed to advancing the digital security of hoteliers, and we continue to do so by investing in rapid product innovation and openly sharing our achievements, milestones, and progress.”
“That’s why we publish quarterly Product Roadmap updates—to share how we’ve supported the industry over time, and how we’ll continue to protect it moving forward,” Harrigan added.
Highlights of Q1 include:
Role-Based Training
As hospitality threats increasingly target employees in specific job roles, VENZA introduced two new specialized data protection courses tailored to Housekeeping and Food & Beverage staff—groups often underserved by conventional cybersecurity training programs.
Each course delivers fundamental data protection principles through real-world scenarios and job-relevant guidance. Presented in a concise 10-minute video format, they’re ideal for group training, maximizing engagement with minimal operational impact.
Campaign Templates
Phishing attempts in hospitality increasingly prey on vulnerabilities in day-to-day operations.
In response, VENZA significantly expanded its phishing simulation template library, adding over 20 new unique scenarios.
Each template reflects the most pressing and current email-based threats in hospitality, from booking platform credential theft to invoice fraud. Organized by “Hospitality-Specific” scenarios and “Core Essentials,” they provide comprehensive, role-relevant coverage to map vulnerabilities and reinforce defenses.
Basic Learning Path
VENZA substantially enhanced the Basic Learning Path—its core security awareness training designed for all hotel staff.
Along with content updates reflecting today’s hotel risk landscape, this coursework has been optimized with modern instructional tools and multimedia elements to boost engagement and retention.
The Basic Learning Path is the first of three structured learning paths, laying the groundwork for progressive cybersecurity and data protection training in Intermediate and Advanced instruction.
VENZA System™ User Access
The VENZA System received two major upgrades to streamline user accessibility.
The first introduces single sign-on (SSO) functionality, enabling users to securely log in using their organisation’s identity provider (IdP) credentials. The second upgrade improves accessibility for all hotel staff, even those without emails, allowing them to securely access training resources.
Together, these enhancements ensure all users can easily engage with and benefit from the full capabilities of the VENZA System’s Risk Dashboard.
Elective Training
To meet rising regulatory and cyber risks, VENZA introduced two new elective courses this quarter.
“CCPA for Hoteliers” provides training on California’s landmark data privacy law and its impact on global hotel owners. “Phishing Defense” offers a comprehensive overview of hotel email scams, exploring best practices for identification and prevention.
Elective coursework expands on the foundation of VENZA’s core security awareness training, allowing clients to tailor their learning paths with additional instruction on critical topics such as device security, social engineering scenarios, data privacy legislation, and more.
Content Translations
This quarter, VENZA advanced its multilingual localization efforts to better serve its global audience.
Key elective courses are now available in multiple languages and select VENZA Learning™ content has been translated into Arabic, Chinese, English, German, and Spanish.
Additionally, the newly enhanced Basic Learning Path is now offered in 10 languages: Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai, and Russian.
