CyberTek MSSP Hires Esteban Velez as Vice President of Information Technology
CyberTek, an award-winning Managed Security Service Provider that delivers advanced on-demand remote management and IT security services, today announced the hiring of Esteban Velez as its first Vice President of Information Technology. He will initially focus on improving service delivery and supply chain management to match CyberTek’s rapid growth expansion plan.
Velez brings more than 30 years of hospitality, security, and technology experience to the new role. Previously, he led IT and Cyber Security teams at Classic Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. Most recently, he was the Chief Information Officer at Concishare, a marketplace application that connects vacation travelers with hospitality providers anywhere in the world.
Since its 2021 acquisition by VENZA, CyberTek has been actively expanding its role in providing technical support, consulting, and security services to the hospitality industry. With this new industry focus, the scale of CyberTek’s business has quickly increased, placing the company on pace for tripling its scope within the next 12 months. Over its 25-year history, CyberTek has always placed a priority on customer service and support. Adding this Vice President of Information Technology position will ensure that the client experience scales with the business and that the company will continue to deliver industry-leading IT services quickly and efficiently.
